Full-Time Mover/Merchandise Handler
We are looking to hire responsible team players to join the Beloit Auction & Realty, Inc. team. Our movers pack, load, and unload from homes and businesses. Experience working for a moving company is not required but welcome. We offer a work environment that encourages teamwork and provides opportunities for growth. Pay is based on experience and skill set.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Arrive on time ready to work.
- Pack and unpack items for customers.
- Load and unload trucks and customer vehicles.
- Communicate with management regularly.
- Provide superior customer service.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Mover/merchandise candidates must be 18 years or older.
- Truck driver candidates must be 21 years or older due to insurance restrictions.
- Drivers MUST have their license for 3 or more consecutive years.
- No experience necessary - we will provide the training needed.
- Be able to lift 75+ lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to communicate in English (bilingual Spanish preferred).
- Willing to work in a variety of physical settings, indoors and outdoors, with or without climate control.
- Willing to work with a small team in a fun and fast-paced environment.
- Able to travel during the day to different job sites in Illinois and Wisconsin (most of the time is spent at our two auction houses in Beloit).
- A pre-employment background check and drug test is required for all new hires. Random drug testing of employees is practiced.
Please Note:
Full-time is 38-40 hours per week. Hours will vary - applicants must be available to work during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Full-Time Auction Production Assistant
Pay is based on experience and skill set.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Organize, photograph and type detailed descriptions of items to be sold in our online auctions.
- Greet and interact with customers during scheduled auction previews while answering questions about the online auction process or the merchandise being sold.
- Work with other team members to manage an organized and scheduled pick up of the items by winning bidders after the auction.
- Research items being sold.
Qualifications and Skills:
- General knowledge of a variety of items from personal property to business assets.
- Ability to quickly learn and use a variety of cloud based and proprietary software programs.
- Ability to use a laptop/desktop computer and type proficiently.
- Ability to use a digital camera or tablet.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Willing to work in a variety of physical settings, indoors and outdoors, with or without climate control.
- Willing to work with a small team in a fun and fast paced environment.
- Able to travel during the day to different job sites in Illinois and Wisconsin (most of the time is spent at our auction houses in Beloit).
